Eric and Astrid met in the infamous Zoulou Bar in Berlin about 3AM one morning. Immediately upon meeting they realized tht there were about ten things they wanted to do with each other. Number 2 was writing together. Since then they have written a dozen books of non-fiction and fiction, often humorous, often provocative and always informative, and the first three books in the Berlin Noir thriller series about Emma Carow, Neuntöter, Blutbuche and Wassertöchter, all in German

Astrid and Eric had to look for alternative things to do during Covid, and decided to teach creative writing. They discovered that not only could they do it, there are a lot of young writers out there who need the experience and knowledge that Eric and Astrid have acquired over the years. They teach online courses and coach authors individually and in groups. Eric has studied forms of literature all his life, starting with the literature of the Middle Ages; he is an expert for plot structure and seducing your reader. Astrid’s experience ranges from humorous writing for TV to advertising to all kinds of fiction and non-fiction – she is an expert in style, humor and suspense.
